From my series "Don't Like Anyone,"an ongoing series started in 2019, comprised of etched and painted plaster tiles. The work pulls from historical events, lived memory, and white colonial culture during the dismantling of South Africa's apartheid. Each tile captures the mess of identity, power, and violence — not as distant history, but as something still etched into the present.
